MFTeasers: Day Four!

Hi there and welcome to day four of teasers from My Favorite Things!  Today we are introducing Tag You're It Die-namics and Stamp Set and Inspired By the Beach.

I have two tags to share with you using Tag You're It:

I can't say enough about Tag You're It.  The die shape alone is awesome and worth the price of admission, but the stamps are amazing!  You can make gift bag tags, gift box tags, treat tags, just because tags......you name it, you can make it with this set!  I love to give gifts in Kraft bags and dress up the otherwise plain Kraft bag by adding a snazzy tag!

This is the first tag.  I used Authentique Blissful Collection papers.  The Die-namics used are the following:  Tag You're It, First Place Award Ribbon (for the sentiment flag), Rolled Flower and Stacked Open Scallop (currently out of stock).  The dotted border from the Tag You're It stamp set was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. The butterfly, also from the set, was stamped in Yellow Citrus Fluid Chalk ink, was cut out and finished with some adhesive gems.  I tied the top with some black gingham ribbon and Black Divine Twine.

I used the same Authentique Blissful Collection papers on this tag, also.  The Die-namics used on this tag are the new Fancy Flourish (I cut mine apart to make the butterfly tails), Simply Scallops, Sweet Stack, and the small butterfly die from the Notched Tag set.  I stamped the dotted border stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black, stamped the same butterfly from the set and popped it up on foam tape and finished each butterfly with black adhesive gems.  The same black gingham and Divine Twine was used to tie the top!

Hi there and welcome to day three of teasers from My Favorite Things!  It's Pure Innocence Day!!!  Today we are introducing five new Pure Innocence images:  Caramel Apple, Karate Girl, Karate Boy, Poppy and Sunflower Girl.

Have a Kickin' Birthday:

I used the new and totally ADORABLE Karate Boy!  He was colored with Copics.  The sentiment flag was made using the ribbon die from the Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon die.  The stars were made with the Die-namics Stacking Stars Die.  All of the papers are from the Hometown Summer pack by Pink Paislee.  Some machine stitching finishes the card.

MFTeasers: Day Two!

Hi there and welcome to the first day of teasers from My Favorite Things!  Today we are introducing the two new à la modes, I Spy and Bundle of Baby, plus Just the Ticket Die Die-namics and Stamp set.

I've Got My Eye On You:

I've used the new I Spy à la mode on my card.  Isn't she the cutest with that huge magnifying glass?  I've paired her with some new Echo Park Victoria Gardens dp.  She was colored, cut out and popped up for dimension.  Some Glossy Accents make her magnifying glass shiny.  The sentiment was cut out with the new Die-namics Bracket Tab die.  I {heart} the shape of this die!  It's perfect for sentiments!  I also used the Die-namics Button Quartet (currently out of stock) for the button tied with Divine Twine and the Die-namics Open Bracket Border die.  Some machine stitching finishes the card.

MFTeasers: Day One!

Hi there and welcome to the first day of teasers from My Favorite Things!  We have a fantastic release next Tuesday so I hope you're able to tune in to each day of teasers!

Today we're introducing Clearly Sentimental About Sympathy and By the Numbers Die-namics and Stamp set.  I have a sample using the new By the Numbers Die-namics and Stamp set.

Oh, how I love this new set!   I made this card for my daughter's friend, Brieana, for her 13th birthday.  Brieana had a slumber party at a HOTEL.   That's right, a HOTEL.  Apparently it's the cool thing to do when you turn 13 around these parts......I told my daughter not to get her hopes up:)

I used some new MME Lost and Found Madison Avenue papers for my card.  Oh, and see that large tag?  L.O.V.E.  It's another new die-namic called Tag You're It (it also comes with a coordinating stamp set....but more on that in a few days).   I really wanted the numbers to stand out so I used a brighter pattern from the same MME pad.  It was layered on another new Die-namics die from this release, the Open Scallop Doily Duo (this is the larger of the two) cut from Fossil cardstock.  I added a few scalloped layers cut with the Simply Scallops Large die.  I finished it off with some lace trim, adhesive gems, a button tied with twine and some machine stitching.

I Wheelie Love You {TCPTues169}

Hi there!  I come to you today with a card I made for this week's TCP Tuesday Challenge.  Susan is our Hostess with the Mostess and she has challenged us to use any stamp that includes a "mode of transportation".  There are many stamps from the The Cat's Pajamas that fit this bill but I finally decided on the new set Wheel Love.  Not only do I love this image of the bunny on the bike, but I Wheelie love the sentiment :)

I paired the image with some beautiful Authentique Journey collection papers.   I don't know what I would do without patterned paper!   The bunny was stamped two times...once on the patterned paper and once on vintage cream cardstock.  He was colored, cut out and adhered to the patterned paper.  I used the Cut Ups Apron die for the loops down the side.  The bow was made with the gorgeous new Seam Binding that TCP now carries.  A sentiment flag and rounded corners finish the card!

You can find all of the details for the the TCP Tuesday challenge and how you can become a Swanky Stamper just click here!

That's all from me today!  I hope you have a good one!

I Simply Adore You! {MFTWSC30}

Hi there!  It's Wednesday and it's time for another Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things!  We have another FABULOUS sketch for you this week, so I hope you can play along!

I used one of my favorite Pure Innocence images, Being Cute Is What I Do for my card.   The papers are from the Sassafras Indie Girl Wee Bundle.  I used a couple different Die-namics here:  Pretty Posies and Simply Scallops Medium.  Some machine stitching, Divine Twine and a sentiment flag finish the card!

A detail shot of some of the dimension....

You're Amazing! {VLVJuly2011}

Hi everyone and happy Friday!!   With a new Friday comes a new Viva la Verve sketch over the Verve Forums.  Laurie is our hostess this week and she has a beautiful sketch for everyone to play with!  I took a few liberties with the sketch, mainly because I had already glued down my main panel, AND I went in a different direction than I normally do.....Shabby.

I cut two hearts from Fossil cardstock using the Jotted Heart Die.  I sponged the edges of each with some Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Distress Inks.  I have been loving all of the crimped embellishments I've been seeing around lately and dug out my paper crimper, crimping both the hearts.  (So glad I decided to hang onto the paper crimper!)  The rose patterned paper was cut with Labels Three Nestabilities, the edges were sponged with the same distress inks and then were machine stitched.  The red polka dot and Vintage Cream layers were distressed with a distressing tool and then sponged with distress inks.  Some wonky stitching finishes the bottom panel.

The sentiment was cut out with a Tiny Tag die from PTI.  I stamped the sentiment, from the new Small Phrases set, in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, sponged the edges and finished it off with some Kraft colored twine.  Some beautiful seam binding, a couple heart stick pins and adhesive flourishes finish the card.  All of the patterned papers are from the Cosmo Cricket Odds and Ends Mini Deck.

I hope you have a fantastic day!  Thanks for stopping by!
