My daughter is going to a slumber party this weekend so I needed a girly birthday card.  For my card I used the new Life's Direction, Blueprints 3 Die-namics, Dotted Scallop Border Trio Die-namics and a couple loved favorites of mine, Western Backgrounds and Spring Backgrounds.

I stamped the adorable bow from Blueprints 3 with the Houndstooth background from Spring Backgrounds.

MFT Teaser Day 6 - Cheerful Blessings

Okay. Let's get to my card.  I pulled out Blueprints 3 Die-namics, Cheerful Blessings, Peaceful Wildflowers, Wildflowers Die-namics, and Dotted Scallop Border Trio Die-namics and got to work. I also used my favorite Western Backgrounds and Spring Backgrounds for some pattern on my card.

I used one of the Blueprints 3 sketches for my card.  The Houndstooth background from Spring Backgrounds was stamped in Red Hot ink.  The flowers were cut from Smooth White card stock and stamped in Red Hot and Sour Apple inks. The main image sentiment from the AWESOME Cheerful Blessings, was stamped on the perforated circle die from Blueprints Die-namics 3 in Black Licorice ink.

MFT Teasers - Day 4!

If you read my blog regularly (thank you, by the way), you might know that as of late I have a CRUSH on the color combo orange, and kraft, with a little green thrown in for good measure.  I couldn't let this release go by without making SOMETHING with this color combo.  I'm also in LOVE with Lisa Johnson's new set, Peaceful Wildflowers.  So I combined my CRUSH and my LOVE together and came up with these two cards!  HA!

I also used the brand new Dotted Scallop Border Trio Die-namics, plus another fave, Western Backgrounds.

You know what else I love?  The new Wildflowers Die-namics.  I love when sets have matching dies, giving you even more versatility.  And these are so easy to line up. EASY.  The flowers are inked up with Orange Fizz and Sour Apple ink.

The sentiment circle is from Blueprints 3.  I originally stamped the sentiment directly on the card front, but it wasn't straight, so I had to cover it up. Blueprints 3 stitched circle to the rescue :)

Same layout, just horizontal with a different sentiment :)
