MFTeasers Day Four - Doodle Garden!

Hi there!  Welcome back to MFT Teaser Time!  Today we have two new adorable Doodle Garden images to introduce, Hunny Bunny and Springtime Wishes.

I used Hunny Bunny for my card.  She is so SWEET and so fun to color.  She was stamped on X-Press It Blending cardstock and colored with Copics.  She was fussy cut and popped up on a new Die-namics Hexagon STAX cut from Whip Cream cardstock.  I also sponged some Sno Cone ink onto the Hexagon while it was still in the die.  The sentiment was stamped on a Die-namics Sentiment Strip.  Those buttons are from the new Die-namics Button Border.  I used one strip of Hemp Cord and threaded all of the buttons at once.  The patterned paper is October Afternoon Farm Girl.  Card base is Kraft cardstock and the mat for each layer is Whip Cream cardstock.

MFTeasers: Day Two!

Hi there and welcome to the second day of Teasers from My Favorite Things!  Today we are introducing two new sets from the Laina Lamb Design line, Document It - Right This Way and Journal It - Library Card.

I've had these pictures ready to be scrapbooked since Thanksgiving of last year.  My daughter loves to take pictures and I love that she wants to include me in them!  I'm usually behind the camera so I love having these random pictures of me and my girls.  They were Instagrammed and printed on my home photo printer.

I used Document It - Right This Way for my scrapbook page.  Arrows are so fun and I love how they add a sense of playfulness to page.  I've also used the following Die-namics:  Lead the Way, By the Letters Uppercase, By the Letters, Fishtail Flags STAX, Fishtail Flags Layers STAX, and Simply Scallops Medium.  The "Right Here Right Now" arrows were stamped in Kraft ink, Sno Cone Ink, and the new Pink Lemonade Ink.  The patterned papers are 5th and Frolic by American Crafts.

The "Right Here Right Now" arrows were had cut and popped up for dimension.  The two arrows to the left of the picture were stamped in white craft ink.

The "Take Note" arrow was hand cut and popped up for dimension.  The "Check It Out" arrow was cut first from Lead the Way Die-namics and then stamped in Kraft Ink.  It was also popped up for dimension.

"Heart" was cut from Pink Lemonade cardstock using By the Letters and By the Letters Uppercase Die-namics.

MFTeasers Day One!

Hi there and welcome to the first day of February Teasers from My Favorite Things!  We have a TERRIFIC release this month (don't we always? LOL) so I hope you'll stick around all week as we tempt and tease you with new stamp sets and Die-namics!

Today we are introducing two new sets from Lisa Johnson Designs:  Embellished Eggs and Spring Backgrounds.  And to coordinate with Embellished Eggs is a brand new Die-namics die set called Easter Elements.  I've also got a peek two new Die-namics Woven Basket and Trapezoid Treat Box.  I'll keep the chatter to a minimum and get right to my project!

I made a card using Emebellished Eggs and the coordinating Easter Elements Die-namics plus the Spring Backgrounds set.  I used the following replenishments from MFT:  Kraft cardstock, Sweet Tooth cardstock and Pink Lemonade cardstock, the NEW Pink Lemonade Ink, Kraft Ink, Pink Lemonade Button and Hemp Cord.  The Leaf-Filled Flourish was cut from Kraft cardstock.

And see the basket?  CUTE!  That was made with the Woven Basket and Trapezoid Treat Box Die-namics.  

Here is a close up of the card.  I am loving the Houndstooth pattern from Spring Backgrounds.  Doesn't it look good stamped in Kraft ink?  The little flowers are also from Spring Backgrounds and were stamped in the new Pink Lemonade ink and finished with a tiny circle stamp from Embellished Eggs with Kraft Ink.  I did the same on the basket.

The tag was cut from Kraft cardstock with the Traditional Tags STAX.  The bird was cut using the new Easter Elements Die-namics and was stamped in Pink Lemonade and Kraft ink with stamps from Embellished Eggs.  The sentiment is also from the same set.  The bird was popped up on foam tape and tied to the basket with Hemp Cord.  In this picture you can also see the texture on the basket.
