That's right.....I said CAS. Clean and Simple. Hardest type of cardmaking, in my humble opinion.
However, I knew these cards had to be CAS and I stuck with CAS. I even like them!
My youngest, Sarah, just celebrated her 11th birthday on August 11th and every year we send out thank you cards. When she was little she used to just draw a picture and write thank you somewhere on the picture. As she got older she no longer wanted to draw pictures, so I bought....yes, GASP, BOUGHT thank you cards. This year I decided to make them. Go me. Can you hold on while I pat myself on the back?..............................................................................
Okay, I'm back.
I started with this week's Clean and Simple challenge #83 over at Splitcoast. It was a sketch. A cute sketch, too! I think I just might try this challenge every now again. I LOVE the look of CAS but when I do it myself, not so much :) It's good to stretch the creativity and in my case it's good to try CAS.
Okay...enough babbling. Here is the first set of CAS cards. All of the products used are from My Favorite Things. The stamp set, Big Greetings and the following Die-namics dies: Plentiful Petals, Fancy Flourish, and Crown Border. The cardstock is Kraft from MFT (L.O.V.E.) and the MME's The Sweet Thing "Lavender" A Hot Fudge button finishes the inside of the flower.

This set uses Big Greetings and the following Die-namics: Plentiful Petals, Simply Scallops and Fancy Flourish. The papers are MME The Sweetest Thing "Tangerine" I used MFT's Tangy Orange cardstock and a Tangy Orange button finishes the flower.

CAS rocks!! love it Jackie!! :)
LOVE these CAS cards, using the SCS sketch! Great colors, layered flowers, borders and the flourish adds a great "final touch." :)
Love both of your cards, but I especially like the first one with the Kraft & pink. It looks so elegant even if it is CAS. TFS
I feel exactly the same way about CAS cards - exactly! You did a really fabulous job on these! Love them!
These are so pretty!! Very CAS, and easy to reproduce!!
