MFT March New Product Launch - Wood Plank Background

Hi there! It's time for the MFT New Product Launch! That means that all of the stamps and Die-namics you've seen peeked all week long are now available for purchase in the MFT Boutique!

Before you run to place your order, why not hop along with the MFT Design Team to find even MORE inspiration using the new sets you've got your eye on? Make sure to head on over to the MFT Blog for a direct link to each designer.

I've got three cards to share with you today that focus on my new FAVORITE Wood Plank Background! I will keep the jibber jabber to a minimum because this post is picture heavy!

You will find a link list of all of the MFT products I used on each card directly after each card.

Let's get to it!

Here is my first and favorite card! It's very CAS for me, but I just love the way it turned out. The Wood Plank Background was stamped as an accent on the Banana Split flower.

I discovered that the flowers in the new Floral Fusion Cover-UP are versions of some of our flower Die-namics. I used the same size Plentiful Petals flower to cover up the flower from the Floral Fusion Cover-Up. Fun!

Here is a close-up of the Wood Plank stamped on the flower.

I love the sentiments from the new Birdie Brown Sunflower Sweetheart. Here is one of them stamped on the inside:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On my second card I used my favorite Plaid Background Builder on the Layered Roses. Instead of mixing up the colors, I used just Orange Fizz ink to build the pattern and LOVE the look. The diamond pattern on the the base panel was made with my Scor-Pal.

And the finished inside:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My third and final card was made with some leftover stamped pieces that I decided not to use on other cards. So here it is laying flat:

And from the front:

And from the side:

And a close up of the flower. This was a fun "out of the ordinary for me" card to make. Doesn't the Wood Plank look awesome stamped in Orange Fizz? LOVE!

If you're still with me, thank you! I hope you enjoyed this week's peeks at all of the new stamps and Die-namics from My Favorite Things!

Thanks for stopping by!

~Jackie

LOL!! As I read the title of your post (Wood Plank Background), my immediate thought on the first card was where's the wood plank? Doy! Absolutely fantastic how you used the background to accent the flower. Another great thing about the card is the white on white Floral Fusion and then using the gorgeous banana split to highlight the flower. The layouts on your 2nd and 3rd cards are awesome! The wood plank background looks amazing in orange fizz.
