MFT December New Product Launch - Giraffe Background & Zebra Background

Hi there everyone! The time has finally come! It's release time at My Favorite Things! Everything you've seen peeked over the last five days is now available for purchase in the MFT Boutique! We've got one more round of inspiration for you so make sure you head on over to the MFT Blog for a direct link to each designer!

My cards focus on the new Giraffe Background and Zebra Background. You know how I LOVE the background stamps. I haven't missed buying patterned paper because I can create my own fun backgrounds with the plethora of designs that MFT offers. I'll keep the chit chat to a minimum and get right to the cards.

First and foremost, my philosophy is that you can use any color you wish with a background. Have fun and experiment. I chose to go neutral with my backgrounds instead of a dark brown (Giraffe) or black (Zebra) because I CAN ;) The color combo I used on both cards is Kraft, Primitive White, Peach Bellini, and Limelight.

Here is the first card. On this card I used the Giraffe Background and Go With It. The Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose is even stamped with the Giraffe Background in Peach Bellini.

And the finished inside:

The second card I made uses the Zebra Background and a sentiment from Friends Like Us. The Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose and the Leaf-Filled Flourish are both stamped with the  Zebra Background with the coordinating ink.

Below you will find links to all of the MFT products I used on my cards.

Thanks for stopping by!

These are gorgeous!! I am NOT a kraft person, but these look so classy and elegant. I think it is the pop of peach on the flower that really gives the wow factor.
