Creative Construction with Blueprints – Back at the Beginning Blueprints 1 & 2

Hi there everyone! There is a new challenge on the block! It's Creative Construction with Blueprints! Here are a few words from MFT about this awesome new challenge.

We love Blueprints because they take the guesswork out of crafting beautiful cards in quick fashion when we’re short on time or inspiration. We also love them for their versatility and ability to be mixed and matched when we have the time and inspiration to create something truly unique. Our Creative Construction Challenge focuses on these attributes each month, challenging the team to both assemble a card based on one of the provided Blueprints sketches as well as design an original card combining elements from the featured Blueprints.

We thought it appropriate to kick off this series by going back to the beginning and focusing on the first two Blueprints we created for you. Take a walk down memory lane with us!

So there it is in a nutshell! Now let's get to my projects!

My first card uses a sketch from Blueprints 1. I remember when the whole concept of Blueprints was introduced and I thought it was genius!! I love having a sketch at my fingertips to make a quick and easy card, but I love how each blueprint set can be combined with any other Blueprint set for endless possibilities.

Here is my card. I used the Fine Check Background, You Have My Heart, Swiss Dots Background, and Blueprints 1 Die-namics. The colors I used are Sweet Tooth, Pink Lemonade, and Cherry Crisp.

And the finished inside:

For my second card I combined a few elements from Blueprints 1 and Blueprints 2. I used the same colors and stamps as the first, but added a beautiful Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose and some Royal Leaves.

Here is the card:

Below you will find links to all of the MFT products I used on my card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Jackie, I just love these cards. Wow, that Fine Check Background is awesome. I don't have Blueprints 1 or 2, but now they are on my list. So happy MFT design team is doing this challenge. Thanks for the inspiration.
