My sample uses the darling Pucker Up:

I paired her with some Cosmo Cricket Togetherness papers.  The button is the Button Quartet Die-namics and it was tied with some Divine Twine.  The scallops down the side were made with the new Stacked Open Scallops Die-namics die.

This is a close up of the Glossy Accents on the pitcher and glasses.....

MFTeasers: Day Two!

Hi there and welcome to day TWO of MFTeasers!  Today we are teasing you with three new sets:  Jolinne Perfect Harmony, Clearly Sentimental About Success, and Notched Tag Die-namics and Stamp Set.  I have a sample using the Notched Tag Die-namics and Stamp Set so I won't keep you waiting any further!

I paired the Notched Tag Die-namics and Stamp set with the Love You With All My Heart Pure Innocence image and a fabulous new set teased yesterday, Well Worn Greetings.  The papers are October Afternoon 5 & Dime.

I stamped the PI image in Memento Tuxedo Black twice, colored the first with Copics and cut out.  I then cut out her arm, hands and heart from the second stamped image and popped it up for dimension.  She is layered on two pieces of the Well Worn Greetings Dienamics Dies, the first stamped with the awesome gingham stamp from Well Worn Greetings in Poppy Parade ink.

See the Notched Tag?  I cut out the tag using the Notched Tag from the Notched Tag Die-namics.  The sentiment and the dashed line are both stamps from the Notched Tag Stamp set.  And see the felt heart?  That is also a die from the Notched Tag Die-namics!  You are going to LOVE this set!  I can see myself using it often!!

MFTeasers: Day One!

Hi everyone!!  I can hardly believe that this is my first real Teaser Post for My Favorite Things!  So excited!  I also wanted to thank all of you who left such wonderful comments on my news!  It meant so much!

Today I have a teaser for you of the new Fred Bear Plays Indian!  I LOVE Fred Bear and this new Fred is ADORABLE!

I stamped Fred in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored him with Copics, cut him out and popped him up for dimension.  The layer Fred is on was cut with my new Wonky Rectangle Nestabilities.  I embossed the layer with the Seeing Spots embossing folder while it was still in the die (that's how I got the flat edge)  I actually used the debossed side of the Wonky rectangle.  See the brown strip of decorative cardstock?  That was cut with a new Die-namics Scallop Ribbon Die. The papers are Jillibean Soup Dutch Mustard Soup.  The card was finished with some Divine Twine, buttons and some machine stitching!

Here is the finished inside!

Anywho...I made this card last night/this morning and am couldn't get it photographed and blogged until we got home.  I used the new set from Taylored Expressions, Labels of Love paired with one of my fave ever sets from TE, Friendship BloomsLabels of Love was a first ever mid-month release from TE and was designed to coordinate with the Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio Three.  It's a fantastic set chock full of sentiments for pretty much any occasion and some beautiful frames!  I used the new LilyBee Designs Picket Fence papers.  I LOVE the red and purple together from this pack.  The flower was stamped in Memento Sweet Plum ink and was cut out with the coordinating Friendship Blooms die.  The leaves were cut with the Leafy Branch die and the scallops were cut with the Large Scallop Border die, all from TE.  Some rounded corners with my BELOVED Corner Chomper and a little machine stitching finish the card!

Hi there!  I'm here today with this week's TCP Tuesday challenge, {TCPTues155}.  Leigh is our Hostess with the Mostess this week and she challenged us to a sketch!  I've been reaching far for Mojo lately and that was the case with this sketch!  I loved it when I saw it, but just couldn't make it work!  This is the second card I made (don't ask what happened to the first because it isn't pretty!  LOL!) and I'm happy with how it turned out!

I used A Girl and Her Cake and paired her with some fun papers from LilyBee Designs called This & That.  I used the Cut Ups Easy Rosette Die for the rosette under the buuny.  A few sentiment flags and my fave Divine Twine in Brown Sugar with a button and the card was finished!

We'd love to have you play along in the TCP Tuesday challenges!  You can find all the details here!

Taylored Expression Special Release

Taylored Expressions is bursting at the seams with so much sweet new rubber that we couldn't fit it all in the regular monthly release! We are excited to bring you a one-time mid-month release of 3 new stamp sets - Labels of Love, You're My Type - Upper and You're My Type - Lower. As if that weren't exciting enough, these new sets are designed to coordinate with Spellbinders dies! Everything we are showing you is available TODAY!!!

We also want to take this opportunity to express a huge thank you to Spellbinders who generously provided our team members with Grand Calibur die cutting machines.  Isn't that awesome?  I love using my Grand Calibur and can't wait to show you what I've made today using all of these new goodies!

My first card uses the new Labels of LoveLabels of Love was designed by Taylor for the *TE* Collection and coordinates with the new Ribbon Tag Trio Three by Spellbinders.  Labels of Love is a set of 31 images (7 frames, 6 flourishes, 18 sentiments) and work for just about any occasion.  Today I paired Labels of Love with a flower image from Hello Spring.  The sketch is this week's Mojo Monday sketch, Mojo187.  The papers are MME Stella and Rose Hattie.  I also used the Medium Scallop Border die on the bottom of the card.

Here are my dies getting ready to be cut using the Grand Calibur.  I LOVE that you can use several dies in one pass, such a time saver!

And here they are after cutting and then embossing.  So easy thanks to the Grand Calibur!

My second card uses the new You're My Type ~ Lower.  This is a fabulous little set made from deeply etched red rubber, trimmed and mounted on EZ Mount.  You're My Type ~ Lower has the letters A~Z (lower case) and the numbers 1~0.  They coordinate beautifully with the new Spellbinders Nested Pennant dies but could also be used alone on a card or scrapbook page.

For my card, I paired You're My Type ~ Lower with the new set, Dream Big, to create a fun graduation card.  The papers are a mix of October Afternoon Schoolhouse and Fly a Kite.  The numbers were punched out with a small circle punch and popped up on a foam dimensional.  Some machine stitching and Baker's Twine finish the card!

And if all of these new stamps and dies weren't enough, Taylored Expressions has a special Offer to Celebrate the first ever TE Mid-Month Release:

Both the NEW Nested Pennants and the NEW Lacey Pennants are 30% off at the TE Store while supplies last! Regular price $19.99, sale price only $13.99!!
Don't forget to hop around to see what the rest of the Baker's Dozen has cooked up for today!

Verve After Party!

Hi there and Happy Monday!!  Verve celebrated it's newest release last Friday night and today we're having a little After Party!  All of the Diva's chose a favorite card they created for this release and are sharing them on the Verve Blog today!

This is my favorite card from this release.  I made it with my Mom in mind for Mother's Day!  I feel so ORGANIZED!  I already have her card made!!  I usually wait until about two hours before I'm going to see her to whip one up, but I don't have to do that now!!  Yay me!  LOL....

I used two of the just released sets, Love Deepens and Bloom & Grow.  I love this sentiment from the Love Deepens, but wanted it to say Nana instead of Grandma.  To remedy that, I simply covered Grandma with tape and inked up, removed the tape and stamped the sentiment without the word Grandma.  I then inked up the individual Nana stamp and stamped it just below the sentiment!  LOVE that!  The flowers from Bloom & Grow were inked with Taken With Teal and Cherry Cobbler inks.  I love that you can two~step stamp these flowers.  They were cut out with the Floral Circle Dies and finished with a button and some twine.  The leaves were also inked in Taken With Teal ink and were cut out with the Elegant Leaves Die.  I can't tell you how well these dies cut....Like BUTTAH!   A couple rounded corners and some machine stitching and the card was done!

The April 2011 Stamp Collection includes all of the stamps in our April 2011 release, bundled together for a limited time. Each stamp set is packaged individually, but by purchasing them all together you save 15%! Collection price is good through April 30, while supplies last.

Thank you for stopping by!  I hope you all have a great week!
