MFT February Release Countdown: 3!

Hi there everyone! Welcome back to the February Release Countdown from My Favorite Things! Only three more days until all of the new release goodies will be available for purchase! But today we've got even more fabulous introductions for you so make sure you head on over to the MFT Blog for all of today's details!

I made two cards today that feature the new Wavy Greetings stamp set and Ride the Wave Die-namics, along with the Houndstooth Background. The colors I used are Natural, Primitive Cream and the brand new Coral Crush.

I love the new Wavy Greetings stamp set. The curve in the sentiments match the Ride the Wave Die-namics perfectly. It's been a while since I used my favorite Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose and Leaf-Filled Flourish so I took the opportunity to use them today. They pair beautifully with these new sets.

Here are my two cards. I am a huge fan of using the same colors when making more than one card. I also love making coordinating cards with slightly different layouts. I also didn't use the Ride the Wave Die-namics as they were intended to be used. Instead, I used one of the dies to make the curve on the Natural piece of card stock to accommodate the sentiment. I was trying to think outside the box. What do you think?

I stamped this Mini Hybrid Rose with the Linen Background.

Isn't this one fun with the sentiment on its side?

This Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose was stamped with the Houndstooth Background. Love the new Coral Crush color.

The finished inside also stamped on its side.

MFT February Release Countdown: 4!

Hi there everyone! Welcome back to the February Release Countdown from My Favorite Things! We've got some more spectacular introductions today so make sure you head on over to the MFT Blog for all of today's details and to find out how you can win a GREAT prize!

My card today uses the most ADORABLE new Somebunny stamp set from Birdie Brown. I paired it with the two of the THREE new background stamps: Polka Dot Background and Harlequin Background. If you take a close look at the card, I stamped the Linen Background over the Polka Dot Background and I love how it looks. I love the freedom of making my own background papers myself and having the ability to do it over and over again without the expense of buying patterned paper ;)

So enough of the chit chat. Here's my card. I LOVE the new Stitched Rectangle Frames.

I've said this many times, but dimension is your friend ;)

5 Days to an Organized Crafty Stash - Ink Pads & Refills

Hi there everyone! It's the final day from the 5 Days to an Organized Crafty Stash from My Favorite Things and today we are focusing on Ink Pad and Ink Refill organization! There is a fantastic grand prize to be given away so make sure you head on over to the MFT Blog for all of today's details and direct links to each participating designer.

I want to start off today by saying THANK YOU to all of you for the wonderful comments this week. I hope I've inspired those of you with small spaces to get organized!

Let's talk ink. I have all of MFT's Premium Dye Inks and almost all of the MFT Hybrid inks. That's a lot of ink and it has been challenging getting them organized. Here's how I store my inks.

I store my Premium Dye Inks in this ink holder from Organize More. I bought this several years ago and I love it.

My organizer doesn't have the fancy little space for the refills but there is plenty of room for the refills right next to the pad.

I store my Hybrid Ink Pads at the bottom of one of my Ikea craft carts.

I only have a few of the Hybrid Ink refills and I keep them in the baggie they came shipped in and store them on the same shelf on my craft cart.

So that's it from me! I really hope you've enjoyed this organization series. I sure have!

Thanks for stopping by!
