MFTeasers Day Four!

Hi there!  It's day four of teasers from My Favorite Things and today we are introducing two new Die-namics/Stamp Sets, Bon Appetit and Contempo Cage!  I LOVE the sets that have coordinating Die-namics Dies and I have a hunch you're going to love both of these new sets!

You're an Amazing Chick:

The Contempo Cage die is AMAZING!  I can't wait to play around with it some more!  I actually only used one stamp from the set.....the sentiment!  The rest was done with dies.  So fun!

My card was made with some new GORGEOUS Crate Paper Random papers.  The bird was popped up on dimensionals.  I also used the new Vintage Flourish Die-namics die on the bottom of the bird cage.  The flourish was finished with a linen tied button.  Oh, and there's that new fantastic Oval Tab die again......The scallops were made with the Simply Scallops Die-namic die.  Some machine stitching and adhesive pearls finish the card.

MFTeasers Day 3!

Hi there!  It's day three of teasers from My Favorite Things and today we are introducing Clearly Sentimental About Family, last month's Triple Scoop Set, and  this month's Triple Scoop set, Clearly Sentimental About Abundance.

The Love of a Family:

I used Clearly Sentimental About Family, paired with some beautiful  MME Six By Six Honey Cake papers.  The sentiment was cut out with the largest die in the Sweet Stack Scallops Die-namics and was layered on a piece of patterned paper cut from the Well Worn Greetings Die-namics.  The flourish was cut with the Fancy Flourish Die-namics (currently being restocked) from Terracotta Tile cardstock and the hearts were cut from Terracotta Tile Felt and a piece of patterned paper using the Hearts A Plenty Die-namics.  Some rounded corners, machine stitching and a linen tied button finish the card!

MFTeasers Day Two!

Hi there!  It's day two of teasers from My Favorite Things and today we are introducing Fred Bear and the Megaphone and Inspired By Autumn!

Hello?  Is This Thing On?

I stamped Fred in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored him with Copics.  The megaphone was stamped a second time and popped up for dimension.  The Die-namics I used on my card are the new Oval Tab, the new Postage Stamp Border, Stacking Stars and Say What?  I finished the card with a button tied with Divine Twine and some machine stitching.

A shot of the inside.....

MFTeasers Day One!

Hi everyone and welcome to the first day of teasers from My Favorite Things!!  The MFT Design Team has so much goodness in store for you the next seven days that you won't want to miss a thing!

Today we are introducing Who's That Girl Chooses Hope!  You may have gotten a peek at this set during the VIP New Product Tour, but if you didn't it's a fabulous set for upcoming October Breast Cancer month, but is also a perfect friendship or support set!

Once You Choose Hope, Anything Is Possible:

There are two "main" images in this set.....one woman or two.  I used the two women image.  They were colored with Copics and their clothes were paper pieced.  The image was cut out with Circle Nestabilities and was layered on a Die-namics Open Scallop Doily Duo (the larger of the duo).  The sentiment was cut out with the newest Die-namics Oval Tab Die (L.O.V.E.).  The sketch is Deconstructed Sketch #20.  Some machine stitching, adhesive pearls and a pink ribbon made from patterned paper finish the card.  The papers are MME Six By Six Honey Cake.

Smile about TCP Tuesday!

Hi there everyone!  I have a card for you TODAY's TCP Tuesday challenge!  I made a TCP Tuesday card ON TUESDAY!  Yay me!  LOL!

Anywho.....Jenny is our Hostess with the Mostess and she gave us some fabby colors as our challenge this week.  I was a little scared when I saw the purple, but I got over my fear when I started my card!  Here is a graphic of the colors:

Pretty, isn't it?  I pulled out one of my favorite bunny sets, Kick Some Grass and got busy.  The sketch is last week's Mojo Monday sketch 207, but I left out the oval panel because it didn't work with the image I used.  The bunny was colored with Copics and finished with some machine stitching and ahdesive gems.  I machine stitched the sentiment flag to the image panel and finished each panel with some more stitching.  I finished the card with a butterfly cut using the Mini Exotic Butterfly dies. (currently sold out)  All of the papers are from the MME Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky 6s6 pad.

To find out all of the details about TCP Tuesday and how you can play to win some Cat's Cash, just head on over to Alma's Blog!

{TCP Tuesday 176} PLUS A TCP GIVEAWAY!!!!

It has been a year since Alma, owner of The Cat's Pajamas introduced the fantastic Cut Ups Dies and to celebrate we're doing a giveaway!  Each Cat Pack Member is giving away a Cut Ups Die that is featured on their cards made for the TCP Tuesday Challenge #176!  So make sure you head to all of the Cat Packer's TCP Tuesday #176 post to leave a comment!! (Their links are in my sidebar) You will have until Monday night (tonight) to leave a comment for your chance to win!  Since my post is SO LATE, I'm giving you until Tuesday night (that's tomorrow) at 9:00 pm PST to leave a comment for your chance to win!  The die featured on my card is the Cut Ups Apron Die:

Jen is our Hostess With the Mostess and she gave us this wonderful fall trio of pics to work with for inspiration:

I was totally inspired by the colors from all three pics and the subtle pattern of the leaves from the far left picture.

I used the adorable set, A Cuppa and paired it with some Crate Paper Farmhouse papers.  See the Apron Cut Ups tucked behind the main image?  The sentiment is appropriate as my hubby and girls have been sick for the last week (they are all back at school/work...HOORAY!) but now I'm feeling a bit under the weather!  Although I'm not as bad as they were!

The sketch is the Deconstructed Sketch #19.  The apron was paper pieced and the image was colored with Copics.  The sentiment was masked and each word was stamped to make three individual sentiment flags.  They were machine stitched to the main image.  Some Ivory Linen Thread, a button and some rounded corners finish the card.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you all have a great week!
