Christmas 2013 - Countdown to Christmas

Hi everyone! It's time for the monthly Creative Challenge from My Favorite Things and this month we're counting down to Christmas with Christmas themed projects. Head on over to the MFT Blog for a link to each participating designer.

I don't have a "traditional" countdown project, rather I am counting down to Christmas by checking things off my list, namely having a mini album done ahead of time so I can add my favorite pictures for memory making. I had SO MUCH FUN creating this album. I tried doing a December Daily album last year, but never completed it. This mini album was right up my alley.

I used many MFT products on this mini album and you'll find them all linked at the bottom of this post.

This post is very picture heavy, so sit back, relax, and I'll get on with it :)

Here's the album:

The first set of pages. I will be adding small instagram pictures to some of the pages. The page on the left will have a picture of our decorated Christmas tree.

Just a fun filler page. Love the Winter Wreath Die-namics. So fun.

This is the second st of pages. The page on the right will have a another picture.

I'll put a small picture on this next page, most likely of my girls. :)

MFT October Release Rewind

Hi everyone! Did you order some new goodies from the My Favorite Things October Release last week? The design team is back tonight with part 2 of our October Release Rewind. I am not one to make Christmas cards each year because A) it's a little too time consuming for me, and B) I don't like to mass produce. However, I do love to make cards with a matching tag for gift giving. I've created that very thing for today's post. I used the new Grand Holiday Greetings from Lisa Johnson, Sheet Music Background, Blueprints 8, Starry Christmas (sentiment on tag) and the Pierced Traditional Tags STAX. I also used my fave Western Backgrounds; Pierced Square STAX, Upsy-Daisy, Traditional Tags STAX, Fishtail Flags and Fishtail Flags Layers STAX, and Designer Labels 2 STAX.
