Pure Innocence Day!

We have reached my one of my very favorite days during the My Favorite Things Teasers......Pure Innocence Day!!  We have three new Pure Innocence images to preview today:  Thanks Snow Much, Bear Hugs and Warm Wishes.

Head on over to the MFT Blog for a link to each designer.

I used Warm Wishes for my card today.  OMG....this image is so adorable!  I LOVE her snow outfit!  She was colored with Copics and the edges of her hat, coat and boots were covered in glitter.  The Die-namics I used on my card are Traditional Tags STAX, File Tab, Jumbo Snowflake and Let It Snowflake.  The tag and Wild Cherry Button were finished with Hemp Cord.  Cardstock is Kraft, Whip Cream and Xpress It.  The patterned papers are Teresa Collins Christmas Cottage 6x6.

MFTeasers: Day Five!

Hi there!  It's day five of teasers from My Favorite Things and today is àla mode day!  We are previewing one new àla mode today:  You're My Cup Of Tea!  She's adorable!

Head on over to the MFT Blog for a link to each designer.

I don't know what's up with me lately, but I want to distress everything!  I'm just going with it :)  I colored the àla mode image with Copics and paper pieced the mug.  The small heart on the tea bag is from the new Lovey Dovey Sentiments we previewed two days ago.  The Die-namics I used are the new Winter Rose, Circle STAX and Sentiment Strips.  The sketch is Jen del Muro's Sketch For You To Try.  Had to do it as she announced it's the last one she's doing :(  It's a great one.  I added a little hemp cord behind the Winter Rose. The patterned papers are Teresa Collins Now and Then 6x6.

MFTeasers: Day Three!

Hi there and welcome to the third day of teasers from My Favorite Things!  Today we are introducing last month's Triple Scoop set, Clearly Sentimental About New Beginnings and this month's new and AWESOME Triple Scoop Set, Lovey Dovey Sentiments.

Head on over to the MFT Blog for a link to each designer.

About a week or so ago, Betsy Veldman had an awesome tutorial on her blog for the Subway Chalk Art technique.  I saw it, thought it was cool and was totally inspired to try it after I saw this FANTASTIC card by Amy Rohl.  Her card won MFT's November Fantastic Find, btw.  Thank you, Amy!

I knew I had to use Lovey Dovey Sentiments for this technique, so I pulled it out, figured out what sentiments I wanted to use (I used eight of the sentiments/images) and got to work.  After stamping and heat embossing all of the sentiments I added some of my own doodling with a pink Prismacolor Pencil.  Such a fun technique.  I will definitely be doing this again!

I added some embellishments using the new the following Die-namics:  Looped Border and Hearts A Plenty, plus a Pink Lemonade button tied with some twine.  The patterned paper is Little Bo Peep by Crate Paper.

MFTeasers: Day Two!

Hi there!  Welcome to day two of teasers from My Favorite Things!  Today we are introducing two new sets from the Laina Lamb Line:  Journal It: Graph Paper Notes and Document It: Captured Memories.

Head on over to the MFT Blog for a link to each designer.

Well, it's official.  I have jumped on the December Daily bandwagon. I love to see how other crafters document their month.  However, I have named mine December MEMORIES, knowing FULL WELL I will not do something daily.  It's just not in me!  I plan on highlighting all the fun things we do this month.  I've only gotten as far as the cover of the album, so here goes:

I stamped on the Kraft portion of my Simple Stories SN@P album with the Darling Dots Background set using white craft ink.  "December" was cut with the High Rise Upper and Lowercase Die-namics.  The first three letters were adhered to an Award Seal Die-namics and was layered on the new Snowflake Doily Die-namics. The numbers were cut with By the Numbers Die-namics.  The word "memories" was cut using my Silhouette machine.

Oh, and I also added a Dainty Bow to the new Snowflake Doily

Here are some elements from both new sets:  Journal It: Graph Paper Notes and Document It: Captured Memories.  Also making an appearance are the new Mini Double Dot Border and Insert It Instaframe Die-namics.  The Instaframe is empty now, but will house a picture of my girls as soon as I get one taken!  Ha!

"Captured Memories" is from Document It: Captured Memories.  It was cut out with the File Tab Die-namics.  The Holly Berry dies are from the Jumbo Christmas Stocking Die-namics.

And here is one more angle of the entire front:

The Die-namics I used to create the album cover:
