MFT May Release Countdown: 5!

Hi everyone! Welcome back to the May Release Countdown from My Favorite Things! We have more new reveals today so make sure you head over to the MFT Blog for all of today's details and to see how you can win big just for commenting!

My card today uses the following new products: You Were Meant to Sparkle stamp set, Pinstripe Background, Grid Background, Linen Background, Rectangle Frames, and Sequins Die-namics. The colors I used are Berrylicious, Pink Lemonade, and Sweet Tooth.

I stamped the largest Rectangle Frame with the Grid Background, the medium Rectangle Frame with the Pinstripe Background and the inner portion of the medium Rectangle Frame with the Linen Background. The sentiment was stamped with the Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. The flowers were cut with the Pretty Posies Die-namics.

Here is my card:

Detail shot of the Sequins Die-namics. So fun! The pattern on the Pretty Posies was done with the Linen Background. I will be reaching for this background often. Just a warning ;)

MFT May Release Countdown: 6!

Hi there everyone! Welcome back day two of the May Release Countdown from My Favorite Things! We've got more fantastic stamps and Die-namics to share with you today so make sure you head on over to the MFT Blog for all of today's details!

I've got a card to share with you that uses the new Let's Hang Out stamp set along with its coordinating Let's Hang Out Die-namics, both from Birdie Brown Designs. This stamp set is SO CUTE! I just know you're going to love it.

I started by cutting the shape of the girl with X-Press It Blending Card, stamped her in Black Licorice Hybrid Ink, and colored her with Copics. I just love the crisp black lines the Hybrid ink gives the image. I created the scene with a few of the other images included in the set. I cut the sun from Banana Split card stock using the Sunshine Die-namics. Before adhering the girl, I sponged Sno Cone ink over the background to mimic the sky. Simple and fun.

Here's the card:

The finished inside. Love the fun font used for the sentiments in this set.

MFT May Release Countdown: 7!

Hi everyone! It's an exciting time at My Favorite Things because it's time for our May Release Countdown! We have some awesome new stamps and Die-namics to share with you this month! Make sure and stay tuned to the MFT Blog for each day's details and direct links to each participating designer!

I am starting off with a bang today and have FOUR cards to share. I've used all four sketches from the new Blueprints 15 Die-namics (LOVE). I love how easy it is to create beautiful cards in no time with any of the Blueprints Die-namics. I've also used the new Linen Background (swoon), Gerbera Daisy Die-namics, Royal Leaves, and sentiments from Cheerful Blessings. The colors I used are Pink Lemonade, Kraft, Primitive White, and Sour Apple.

This post is picture heavy so relax, grab a drink, and enjoy!

Here is the first card. Don't you love the wonky panels? They are so easy to make with Blueprints 15!

The finished inside. No sentiments, just some Linen Background stamped in Kraft ink on Primitive White card stock.
