Head on over to the MFT Blog for a link to each designer.

I used my new favorite PI, Picture Perfect.  SHE IS SO CUTE!  She was colored with Copics, her dress and frame paper pieced.  She was cut out with Rectangle STAX.  The sentiment was stamped on a Sentiment Strip and was finished with a flower made with Plentiful Petals.  The arrow was made with the new Lead the Way Die-namics and Simply Scallops Medium made the scallops at the bottom.

It's MFTeasers à la Mode Day!

Hi there!  It's à la Mode day here at My Favorite Things and we have two new à la modes to introduce to you:  Polished to Perfection and 80's Girl.  They are both so fun!  Can't wait for you to see today's teasers!

Head on over to the MFT Blog for a link to each designer.

I've used 80's Girl for my card.  She's like totally radical (snicker).  She was colored with Copics.  I don't know if you've ever noticed on my blog, but I never color blonde hair, I always do brunette because coloring blonde scares me, but I gave my à la Mode blond hair and I love how it looks!  Not a big deal to you, really, but big for me :)

Anywho...back to the card!  I used my new favorite Layered Rose Die-namics and finished it with a Sour Apple Button.  The new Wavy Edge Die-namics was used on the bottom and the sentiment flag was made with one of the "tails" from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics.  Some random zig zag stitching à la Michele and the front was complete.  All the papers are Everyday Eclectic by Echo Park (6x6).

Here is the very simply finished inside:  WORD....

MFTeasers: Day 3!

Hi there!  It's day three of teasers from My Favorite Things and today we are introducing Clearly Sentimental About Audrey Hepburn (last month's Triple Scoop set) and this month's Triple Scoop set Clearly Sentimental About Grandparents.

Head on over to the MFT Blog for a link to each designer.

I used Clearly Sentimental about Audrey Hepburn for my card.  The sentiment was stamped on an Oval STAX and was layered on a Designer Label STAX 4.  I used the gorgeous new Layered Rose, although I'm not layering it like a rose!  Love it stacked like this!  The larger flower was finished with a Pink Lemonade button and the smaller flowers were each finished with a Sweet Tooth button.  The new Medium Leafy Flourish is peeking out behind the flowers.  The patterned papers are MME The Sweetest Thing "Lavender" 6x6.  The card base is cut from my favorite Kraft Cardstock.  Seriously, if you haven't tried MFT's cardstock, you MUST!  It's nice and heavy and the PERFECT sturdiness for a card base.  I'm hooked!

MFTeasers: Day Two!

Hi there and welcome to day two of teasers from My Favorite Things!  Today we are introducing Inspired By the Front Porch - Fall, and Mouse in the House-It's Your Birthday!

Head on over to the MFT Blog for a link to each designer.

I used the new and adorable Mouse in the House-It's Your Birthday for my card.  The mouse was colored with Copics and her shirt was paper pieced.  She was cut out with Square STAX and matted on a larger Square STAX.  The File Tab was used for the sentiment.  I also used the gorgeous new Layered Rose Die-namics for the flower and finished it with a twine tied Tangy Orange Button. The new Triple Scallop Borders (smallest) was used for the vertical border down the left side.  A twine bow, some rounded corners and some machine stitching finish the front.  The beautiful patterned paper is the new MME Sweetest Thing "Tangerine" 6x6.

You Make Me Happy {MFTWSC83}

Hi there!  It's time to get sketchy with My Favorite Things!  We have a fun and simple sketch for you this week so I hope you get the chance to play along!

Head on over to the MFT Blog for a link to each designer!

I went fairly simple for me with this week's sketch!  I used the Pure Innocence image Being Cute is What I Do.  She was colored with Copics and cut out with a Circle STAX Die-namics.  The Flower and Leaf Trio was used to cut out the flowers.  A simple linen thread tied Sno Cone Button finishes the flower.  The corners were rounded with my Corner Chomper.  Some machine stitching finishes the card.

MFTeasers: Day 1 Lisa Johnson Designs!

Hi there and welcome to day ONE of teasers from My Favorite Things!   We have SO MANY fun sets and new Die-namics to share over the next week that you won't want to miss a thing!

Today we are introducing the first set from Lisa Johnson Designs, Circus Spectacular and the newest Who's That Girl:  WTG Gets Down to Business.

Head on over to the MFT Blog for a link to each designer.

I have a card to share using the debut Lisa Johnson Designs set, Circus Spectacular!  I have also used the coordinating Circus Spectacular Die-namics along with the new Ticket Strip Die-namics, Award Seal Die-namics and the Circle STAX Die-namics.   My card is very masculine thanks to the MME Fun Day papers I used.   I just love how the Award Seal Die-namics layer beautifully with the Circle STAX!

The inside of the card mimics the front.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

A Card and an MFT Announcement!!

Hi there!  I'm just popping in here today to let you know that today MFT is welcoming a new Design Team Member to the MFT family!   For the "official" announcement head on over to the MFT Blog!!!

I also have a card to share that I made for my Brother-in-law, Rocky, whose birthday was earlier this month.  I thought it was pretty darn masculine (something I STRUGGLE with) but hubby thought otherwise!  He loved the colors but wasn't too keen on the twine and the little flags!  HA!   Hubby liked the card (he likes all the cards I make) but was hoping for something a little more manly for his little brother :)  MEN......sheesh.....

Anywho, the sentiment from Big Greetings was stamped on a Circle STAX and matted on a larger Circle STAX.  The new Sentiment Strips were used for the turquoise strip across the front of the circle and was finished with a Black Licorice Button.  The Fishtail Flags STAX were used for the flags hanging from the circle.  The papers are Echo Park Happy Days 6x6.
