Cool Beans {MFTWSC107}

Hi everyone!  Just poppin' in on this Monday to share a card I started last week and finished yesterday using the newest Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch Challenge from MFT.  I LOVE this sketch!

I used the ADORABLE new Doodle Garden Far Out image just released from MFT.  She was stamped on X-press It cardstock, colored with Copics and cut out with Oval STAX 1 and layered on a Oval STAX 2.  The sentiment was stamped in Kraft Ink on a Sentiment Strip.  It was finished with a small heart using the Heart STAX Die-namics and a Hemp Cord tied Sno Cone Button.  The card base and oval layer are Kraft cardstock.  The patterned papers are True Love by Basic Grey.

Hi there!  It's time for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch!  We have a GREAT sketch for you this week so I hope you get a chance to play along.

I went pretty simple (for me) with today's card.  I wanted to embellish more, but couldn't figure out what else to add!  I used My Favorite Sentiments from MFT, stamping the image in the new Kraft ink that MFT just released.  I PUFFY heart the new MFT inks.  The image was fussy cut and layered on a Circle STAX 1 and Circle STAX 2, which was then layered on a Fishtail Flags STAX and Fishtail Flags Layers STAX.  The patterned paper is True Love by Basic Grey.  Card base and layers are Kraft cardstock.

MFT Scrap Sketch #4

Hi there!  It's MFT Scrap Sketch time!  I was a bit intimidated by this month's sketch with all the layers, but it all came together easily once I decided on the patterned papers!

I started today's sketch with this beautiful picture of my daughter, Lauren and her friend, Mea.  Mea's mom, Cynthia sent it to me and I KNEW I had to get it on a page for Lauren's scrapbook.  I added the text to the picture in Photoshop Elements.  LOVE how it looks.  I will be doing that more often.

I used Laina Lamb's new set Document It - Off the Chart and Document It - Captured Memories.  I also used the following Die-namics:  Accent It - Labels and Tabs, Accent It Flags and Tags, Plentiful Petals, Leaf-Filled Flourish, Traditional Tags STAX, Lead the Way, Circle STAX, and Simply Scallops Medium.

I wanted to make two cards for my girls to go with the square pillow boxes I made yesterday so I pulled out all of the same supplies along with Lovey Dovey Sentiments and got to work.

I used the insert cut from Die-namics Instaframe and stamped Love U in Wild Cherry ink, adhered it to the card and popped the Instaframe up around the sentiment for dimension.  For the flower cluster I used Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose, Leaf-Filled Flourish and Rustic Hearts Die-namics.  I also used the coordinating heart stamps from Lisa Johnson's new set, Homespun Hearts.  The cards are a fun size that I see Beate Johns do quite often, 3 1/2 x 11.  The patterned papers are a mix of October Afternoon Be Merry and Farm Girl.

Here are the cards with the matching square pillow boxes I made yesterday.   A match made in heaven!
