Hi there!!! It's Tuesday and it's time for another one of Mercy's sketches! I had a really hard time, at first, with this sketch, until I realized that I could replace the swirly flourish element from the sketch with my beloved DAFFODIL! I think this is the most cards I've ever made with one set! It seems to be my go to set! Now I like a lot of colors with Kraft, but yellow and red are my most favorite! I am loving this Lemon Tart Dotty Biscotti dp from Papertrey. I hope they come out with some other colors....like Pure Poppy and Kraft Dotty Biscotti.....just sayin'!
I made another version of my favorite ribbon technique using Lemon Tart Satin Ribbon and some Scor-Tape. The sentiment is from PTI's Friends 'Til the End and was cut out with Labels One Nestabilities and sponged with So Saffron ink before removing from the die.
Don't forget to check out what the other Muse's did with this week's sketch! I know I can't wait to do a little blog hoppin' myself!
and of course, Mercy!
There will be a lot going on around my blog starting tomorrow, May 5th, as I've been madly stamping using the new releases from Taylored Expressions! This month's release is huge and you won't want to miss it!
Also wanted to extend a big Thank You to all of you who have left such wonderful comments on my new blog! You are all so sweet!
Well, that's all for now! I hope you have a great Tuesday!
