Hi there and welcome to the third day of teasers from My Favorite Things! Today we are introducing last month's Triple Scoop set, Clearly Sentimental About New Beginnings and this month's new and AWESOME Triple Scoop Set, Lovey Dovey Sentiments.
Head on over to the MFT Blog for a link to each designer.
About a week or so ago, Betsy Veldman had an awesome tutorial on her blog for the Subway Chalk Art technique. I saw it, thought it was cool and was totally inspired to try it after I saw this FANTASTIC card by Amy Rohl. Her card won MFT's November Fantastic Find, btw. Thank you, Amy!
I knew I had to use Lovey Dovey Sentiments for this technique, so I pulled it out, figured out what sentiments I wanted to use (I used eight of the sentiments/images) and got to work. After stamping and heat embossing all of the sentiments I added some of my own doodling with a pink Prismacolor Pencil. Such a fun technique. I will definitely be doing this again!
I added some embellishments using the new the following Die-namics: Looped Border and Hearts A Plenty, plus a Pink Lemonade button tied with some twine. The patterned paper is Little Bo Peep by Crate Paper.
