MFT's November Release Countdown Begins!

Hi everyone! Today marks the first day of the November Release Countdown for My Favorite Things! I am so excited for you to see all of the new stamps and Die-namics we will be introducing over the next seven days. You won't want to miss a thing! Make sure and head on over to the MFT Blog for all of today's details.

I have a card to share today that uses a new set from Lisa Johnson Designs called Vintage Frames along with the coordinating Vintage Frames Die-namics, the new Striped Backgrounds (L.O.V.E.), Pierced Oval STAX Die-namics, Pierced Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics, Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics, and Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics. The colors I used are Hot Fudge, Kraft, and Primitive White. The sketch is this week's Mojo Monday Sketch #318 with the elements moved from the right side to the left.

What do you think about the neutral color palette? These are not colors I would normally combine, but I do like them together. My card is a little on the feminine side, but this would be a great color palette for a masculine card, too.

My grandmother and I shared a love of stripes when she was alive, so I was thrilled to see the new Striped Backgrounds. This will definitely be a set I will reach for again and again.

In keeping with Lisa's new Vintage Frames set, I distressed my card and added some vintage lace for texture.

I finished the inside with the skinny stripes from Striped Backgrounds stamped in Kraft Ink and another sentiment from Vintage Frames stamped in Hot Fudge.

Seven Days Until Our November Release!

Below you will find the links to all the products I used on my card.

Thanks for stopping by!

The stripes remind me of my grandmother as well. She had the most amazing pillows that we always fought for during sleep overs. They had the very stripes you display here.
