MFT's new Color Palette Challenge!

My Favorite Things is introducing a new Color Palette Challenge today. This new challenge will take place the first Thursday of every month and participants will have until the Wednesday before the next challenge to link their card/cards to the MFT Blog. One winner will be randomly selected from all the entries and will receive a voucher to the MFT Boutique! This month's colors are the traditional MFT colors of pink, black, and white. You can find all the details on the MFT Blog.

I am really excited for this challenge. Since giving up manufactured patterned paper last year, I really struggle with color combinations and end up reaching for the same colors time and again. This challenge will help get me out of my color "comfort" zone.

My card uses a bunch of new goodies that will be released on Tuesday, January 7th at 10:00 pm EST in the MFT Boutique. I went for a distressed look with the new Distressed Hearts along with the coordinating Distressed Heart Frame. The background was stamped with Distressed Background Blocks and Collage Backgrounds. The colors I used are Bubblegum, Black Licorice and Smooth White.

Here is my card:
