Very Happy Crochet Birthday {SSSC242}

Hi there everyone! It's Sunday and that means it's time for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch! I was a rebel again this week and flipped the sketch on its side. I also left off the little round element because everything I tried just didn't fit with my card.

I used this week's sketch to make a birthday card for my Mother-in-law. I chose the colors based on the blanket I am currently in the process of crocheting for her. The colors I used are Olive, Grapesicle, and Primitive White. The other MFT products I used on my card are Fine Check Background, Linen Background, Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose, Leaf-Filled Flourish, Rectangle STAX, and Horizontal Stitched Strips.

Here is my card:

You can see a little more of the blanket in this picture. It's got a scalloped edge ;)

The finished inside:

Here is this week's sketch:

Don't forget to check out the samples from the Sweet Sunday Sketch Team:

Below you will find links to all of the MFT products I used on my card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Another masterpiece Jackie! Once again your colors are fantastic. Love, love, love how you incorporate the background stamps. How do you use them? I mean what size block do you use for them?
