Hi there! It's time for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch! Karen has given us a great sketch this week. I flipped the sketch and added a panel behind the main image for a little interest. Hope you get a chance to play along.

I used a new set from Wendy Burns Designs, Best Friends. I don't know what possessed me to go with a purple color scheme because I'm not a purple person, but I think it looks pretty fresh with white.

I colored her with Copics, cut her out with Pierced Rectangle STAX, and popped her up on foam boosters. The Striped Backgrounds made the horizontal stripes. I also used stamped the large Grape Jelly panel with the new Typewriter Text Background.

I stamped the same image on the inside with Grapesicle ink.

With Each Year......

Hi there! Welcome back to day three of the MFT December Release Countdown! Head on over to the MFT Blog to see all of today's new stamp sets and Die-namics and to find out how you can win BIG just for commenting.

My card today uses the new stamp set Be Your Best Self from the Sunny Day Doodles line. I LOVE the doodled sentiments in this set. They are so fun to color.

I stamped the sentiment onto a Pierced Rectangle STAX in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the letters with Copic markers. I stamped the Chocolate Brown panel with the houndstooth pattern from Large Scale Backgrounds in Chocolate Brown ink. The stripes on the large Berrylicious panel were stamped with the Striped Backgrounds in Berrylicious ink. The diagonal stripe pattern on the Fishtail Flag STAX is from Washi Patterns and were stamped in Berrylicious ink. The heart was cut from corrugated card stock with the Hearts a Plenty Die-namics. The sketch is this week's Mojo Monday Sketch #322.

My card today uses the new Pure Innocence Wish You Were Here, Typewriter Text Background, Striped Background, Stitched Circle STAX, Circle STAX, and Fishtail Flags STAX. The colors I used are Kraft, Pink Lemonade, and Smooth White.

Isn't she so cute? I paper pieced her shirt and colored her with Copics. She was cut out with the new Stitched Circle STAX.

My card today uses Lisa Johnson's new Grand Peaceful Wildflowers, along with the coordinating Grand Peaceful Wildflowers Die-namics, Blueprints 10 Die-namics and Typewriter Text Background. If you love Lisa's original Peaceful Wildflowers stamp set like I do, then you will LOVE this new set. It's Peaceful Wildflowers on a GRAND scale, thus the name Grand Peaceful Wildflowers :)
