MFT August Creative Challenge ~ Fun Folds

In 2011, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy. Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month, we're all making cards featuring Fun Folds!   Visit Kim's Blog for a full list of designers that have taken up the challenge!

Sending Smiles:

I chose to make an Easel Card.  These are incredibly easy to make!  You can find a great Easel Card tutorial on Splitcoaststampers!

I started my card by making my card base with Fossil cardstock.  I didn't get a chance to ink up the new Pure Innocence Poppy image during the last release, so I reached for her first thing!  I paired her with some beautiful MME Lost and Found Market Street Papers.  She was colored with Copics and her dress was paper pieced.  I fussy cut her out and popped her up on an oval cut with Oval Nestabilities.  The Die-namics I used are Fancy Flourish and Simply Scallops.  The sentiment was cut using the ribbon die from First Place Award Ribbon.  Some machine stitching, lace trim and linen thread finish the card!

That's all from me!!!  Thanks for stopping by!
