A Card and an MFT Announcement!!

Hi there!  I'm just popping in here today to let you know that today MFT is welcoming a new Design Team Member to the MFT family!   For the "official" announcement head on over to the MFT Blog!!!

I also have a card to share that I made for my Brother-in-law, Rocky, whose birthday was earlier this month.  I thought it was pretty darn masculine (something I STRUGGLE with) but hubby thought otherwise!  He loved the colors but wasn't too keen on the twine and the little flags!  HA!   Hubby liked the card (he likes all the cards I make) but was hoping for something a little more manly for his little brother :)  MEN......sheesh.....

Anywho, the sentiment from Big Greetings was stamped on a Circle STAX and matted on a larger Circle STAX.  The new Sentiment Strips were used for the turquoise strip across the front of the circle and was finished with a Black Licorice Button.  The Fishtail Flags STAX were used for the flags hanging from the circle.  The papers are Echo Park Happy Days 6x6.

Here is the finished inside:

And the Die-namics I used:

LOVE this card, Jackie! The "big" b.d. is great, nice paper combo, love the colors. I think this is masculine but to each (your DH) his own, right? Hee! Now I'm going over the MFT blog to see who the new DT member is. How exciting--for them and us! :)

I love your card and think it is a great masculine card. I struggle with masculine cards also as I lean toward the pretty and flowery cards.
I am headed to the MFT Blog also. Have a great day.
