Christmas in July

Hi there and welcome to July's Creative Challenge from My Favorite Things!  Our challenge this month is Christmas in July!

July is not the time I like to start thinking about Christmas, but it's a challenge, right?

To start off, I used this month's Guest Designer Challenge Sketch for August from MFT for my card.  You'll find the sketch at the bottom of my post!

I pulled out Pure Innocence Holly Girl and got to work.  She was colored with Copics and her dress was paper pieced.  She was fussy cut out and popped up for dimension on a Tag You're It Die-namics.  Some twine and a Red Hot Button finish the tag.

The sentiment was stamped on a Bracket Tab cut out.  The plaid piece behind it was cut using the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics.

I did a simple finish to the inside.  Sorry for the blurriness, but my camera will not autofocus when I have an all white/cream piece of cardstock!

Here is this month's Guest Designer Sketch:

Stamps:  Pure Innocence Holly Girl (MFT)
Paper:  Gumdrop Green and Red Hot (MFT), October Afternoon Holiday Style
Accessories:  Die-namics:  Bracket Tab, Fishtail Flags STAX, Tag You're It (MFT), Twine, Red Hot Button (MFT), Lace, Sewing Machine, Foam Tape

Love your card using the Tag, you're it. Thinking outside of the box for me. I have this PI girl and it would be great to create a bunch of her to add to cards. ksh

Beautiful Jackie! And I love your new blog banner -- maybe it's not so new, but it's the first time I've noticed -- sorry if it's old! :)
