Hi there and welcome to day 2 of sneak peeks from Taylored Expresssions! Today the Baker's Dozen has a sneak peek of two new sets, Hello Spring and Easter Joy. I have a sample with each set....
My first sample uses the new and ADORABLE set, Hello Spring. Hello Spring is the newest set in the Apple Doodle Ink Line. It is a set of 20 stamps (10 images and 10 sentiments) made of deeply etched red rubber mounted on EZ Mount, trimmed and ready to go!
The main image on my card is ONE STAMP. Yes, ONE! So cute! It was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. I cut the image out with Oval and Big Scallop Oval Nestabilities. I also used Liquid Applique on the sheep. All of the patterned papers, cardstock, ribbon and brads are from the Spring Project Pantry Kit. I. LOVE. THIS. KIT. The papers are so fun! Some machine stitching finishes it off.
My second sample uses the new set Easter Joy. Easter Joy is the newest set in the Lasting Impressions line and coordinates beautifully with the set I just peeked above, Hello Spring. Easter Joy is a set of 10 stamps (5 images, 5 sentiments) made of deeply etched red rubber mounted on EZ Mount, all trimmed and ready to use.
I went in a different direction with this card. I used the new My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose Hattie papers and used one of the sentiments and the cross image for my card. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, then the cross was stamped off once and stamped over the sentiment. I colored the cross in with Copics. The image was cut out with Circle Nestabilities and layered on a Lacey Scallop Circle cut from Enchanted Evening cardstock. I pulled a Dankari (cross between Danielle and Sankari) and used some Lemon Yellow Liquid Pearls around the image. Some ribbon finished with a button, twine and a couple stick pins finish it off. The sketch is Jen del Muro's Sketch for You to Try from February.
It's time to hop around to see what the other girls have cooked up with today's sets:
