Hi there!! I hope you all had a nice weekend! We had my in-laws over for dinner on Saturday and spent all day Sunday at home in our pj's just catching up on laundry, stamping, and just hangin' out. A great weekend!
I made some time on Sunday to stamp and couldn't wait to make a card for this week's Viva La Verve sketch. Charmaine is our host this week and she came up with a gorgeous sketch! I needed a card for a friend who is going through a rough time right now and decided on Verve's Amazing Wishes to make her card. I paired Amazing Wishes with some Stella and Rose Hazel papers. I am so loving the new My Mind's Eye papers.
I stamped the large and small flower from Amazing Wishes on two of the patterns and cut them out. I put a Making Memories decorative brad in the center of the large flower. I used a Labels 14 to cut out sentiment. The flower border was done with a new EK Success Abstract Flower border punch. In place of ribbon in the sketch I used some cream twine that I recently picked up from The Cat's Pajamas. Between this twine and my go to Divine Twine, I am in heaven. A rounded corner, some machine stitching and an adhesive pearl flourish and I called it done! LOVE how this turned out!
Verve is having a sale! During the month of March enjoy spring savings on these fabulous stamps!

Gorgeous as always :)
Your card is lovely and I'm sure it will be well-received. I sure like that new border punch and the papers you chose. My new MME paper collections are on their way, yah-hoo! Next I'll be on the lookout for the new CC papers, which are awesome, too! I'm nutty for pretty, fun or funky paper! :)
Gorgeous card Jackie - I love your paper pieced flowers. Those papers are to-die-for, aren't they? I managed to place my order at the weekend so I can't wait for them to arrive! Hugs, Ruth S
This is so beautiful, Jackie. I love the color scheme especially.
Jackie, this is beautiful girl!
Jackie, I love these colors and the patterned paper.

Such a pretty card Jackie. Love the colors and the flower images... great border punch!
I'm not sure how it's possible, but this card is even MORE stunning in person! I love every little thing about it! Thanks so much for sending it my way... it totally brightened my day!
