TCP Tuesday 153 on Friday!

Hi there!  I'm a little late to the TCP Tuesday party, but better late then never, right?  Sony is our Hostess with the Mostess this week and she challenged us to use some very challenging colors!  Yellow, Orange, and Teal.  It was a struggle until I figured out that the new My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose Mabel papers worked perfectly!

Here's my card:

I used the just released awesome set from The Cat's Pajamas called The Tweetest Things along with the coordinating Home Tweet Home Die.  The sketch is this month's Sketch For You To Try from Jen del Muro.  I did add an extra layer with the circle/birdhouse, but Jen's sketch is underneath that!  LOL!  LOVE Jen's sketches and all the layers they require!  They are right up my alley!

The birdhouse was diecut from Wood Paper.  I got the idea from the fabulous Julee Tilman. She did the same thing on this gorgeous card.  I then stamped it with the woodgrain house and roof from The Tweetest Things in Brushed Corduroy Ink, sponging the edges with the same ink.  A button tied with some twine, finished with some Maya Road Leaf pins and some machine stitching finish the card.

We'd love to have you play along with the TCP Tuesday Challenge.  You can find all the challenge details HERE.

That's all from me today!  I hope you have a great weekend!
